A house for a family of four, located on a steep plot with views of the Mšeno reservoir and the nearby Jizera Mountains

The plot is situated on the northern edge of Jablonec nad Nisou, bordering the town and the slopes of the Jizera Mountains. The location holds a villa-style residential character, with Hásek’s villa by architect Heinrich Lauterbach, a representative of the Weimar Functionalism school, standing nearby. We were seeking a way to integrate into the sloping terrain, capitalize on the views, and preserve the site’s natural essence.
